Vintage 1960s ringis in very good condition featuring an 8×6 mm ruby-red rectangular stone set in a classic prong setting. The bezel is accented with satin-finished heart motifs that add a romantic touch. Stamped “Varigem” inside the band. "VARIGEM"  is a known brand name associated with a patented, interchangeable gemstone ring design from the 1960s.  The ring is also stamped "PATENT PEND" because they use a patented mechanism (often involving a small screw) to secure the interchangeable gemstone.
